Sunflower

stamps used:  Hot Potatoes sunflower, saying unknown

This card started out as a tag that was around 6 inches long but I cut it down so I could add it to a regular note card.  Yes, it started out as a tag that I was helping my friend make 50 or so of them for her sister's birthday.  They are going to go on a bag of treats.  So we made a some extra so we could both make more on our own.  I took home 5 of the tags that were just stamped with the big sunflower stamp.  First I cut the tag down to fit a note card then I added either self-sticking gems or Nuvo drops to the center of the flower.  On the bottom of the tag I added some grass I punched out of an old border punch I have in my stash of paper punches.  On the card I embossed a piece of cardstock with a SU bubble embossing folder next adhere the tag and I'm done.  Simple but effective.  They will make nice birthday cards.
Hope you like them.  thanks for stopping by and come back again soon.

Is it too early for bats?

stamps used:  Unity stamp co.

Couldn't resist putting ink to this adorable Cuddlebug Bat in three different ways for Unity monthly challenge.

Card #1
Stamped bat with copper ink onto bubble wrap background.  you can see details here on this post.  Wink of Stella was added to this card.  I will admit that I did a little rubber surgery to cut off the stars and moon off the bat because I wanted them separate.

Tag
Stamped the bat with SU Fig ink pad then did a little watercoloring with the same ink.  White embossed the hello with white embossing powder onto a piece of SU Fig cardstock.  Adhered the embossed saying strip across the tag.

Card #2
This is a shaker card with Tulle for the window instead of clear plastic.  Stamped, colored the bat with blue ink then fussy cut him out and glued him to the card.  Stamped the saying onto scrap of white cardstock then punched it out.  Punched out scrap of black and same light blue cardstock as the note card then adhered to the card.  The black bats are a SU paper punch.  Added Wink of Stella to the bat wings.
Is it too early for bats???
Hope you like what you see and come back again soon.

Magical dragon

POP OUT Dragon card

 stamps used:  Unity stamp co.
supplies used:  All Night Media cloud stencil, SU punch, stickles (on wings), Nuvo glitter pen (on tail)
distress inks
Measurements:
base - A2 note card  8 1/2" x 5 1/2"  folded in half to create note card
Directions:
1.  Place stencil on front of note card and sponge color over it to create cloud background.
2.  stamp saying with black ink.
3.  punch hole in front of card with SU punch.  If you don't have a punch you can use a die or go old school with a craft knife and metal ruler.
4.  stamp and color image (dragon) on separate white cardstock and fussy cut it out.
5.  fold image in half.  add a piece of double stick tape to back of piece where it is folded.
6.  close the card and place the folded image with tape in the punched out section.  this will adhere the image to the inside of the card.
7.  lay the image flat on the front of the card then when you open the card the image ... in this case the dragon will magically be on the inside of the card!
thank you for visiting.  come back again soon.  leave a comment to let me know what you think.

tags for holiday

supplies used:  TH sizzix candle die, fern and flower punches, Nuvo liquid dots, pattern papers
check it out!!! not one stamp used on these tags ... they could also be used for bookmarks.
I actually punched out these candles at a friend's house and made maybe six cards with them ... you will see cards in another post soon.  I had these candles left over and didn't need anymore cards so I figured why not use them for tags so I did.
Happy First day of Winter!   let's just hope our winter is mild this year and no 2 to 3 feet of snow.
thanks for stopping by ... come back again soon.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends and family.  I made cards early in the month then forgot so they didn't get sent out till just this Monday.  Hopefully they found their way on time.  I'm thankful all year for my family and friends.  still have those adorable HouseMouse running around that are colored with Prisma color pencils.  the other two designs use decorative pattern papers and punches.
