More Thanksgiving wreath cards!

 More Thanksgiving wreath cards!

Can't stop making these cards, because they are so much fun to create.

stamps used:  Gina K. designs Autumn wreath builder stamp set

I used the wreath builder template

to make A2 (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") cards.  I placed a 3 3/4" x 5" card into the wreath builder template starting in the square orientation.  The card hangs out of the template but that is fine.  I like to put a light pencil mark is the corner of the card, that I will be moving from point to point in the template. This makes it easier for me not to move the card to the wrong position.

Only this time when I was done with all the stamping, I added some dimension with an embossing folder ... just at the bottom of the card.
Please go to the search bar, type in wreath builder cards to see lots more of these style cards.
Thanks for stopping by.  Come back soon.

stamps used:  Gina K. designs Autumn wreath builder stamp set

Once you get started with making wreath builder cards you just can't stop!

here is a look at the wreath builder template.

Basic instructions for A2 wreath builder card:

1. Start in square orientation. Place image in the center top of card, and stamp.  ***I'm using a Misti (any stamp positioner should work)***

2. Turn card to left - stamp.

diagrams for showing placement of stamp

3. Come back to center, and turn card to right, then stamp.

4. Flip card upside down. (180 degree turn) Keep stamp in same position in Misti. stamp image.

5. Turn card to left - stamp image.

6. Place card back to center, keep stamp in same spot in the Misti, but do not stamp image. Turn card to right - stamp image.

7. Place card back to center.

8. Change image. Place new image between center and right stamped image. Stamp new image.

9. Turn card to left - stamp.

10. Bring card back to center - turn card to right - stamp image.

11. Turn card to right and stamp. Looking at stamped card, there should be 3 of the first image, and 4 of the second image on card.

12. Flip card (180 degree turn) and repeat steps #8 - #11.

13. With card in square orientation place different stamp to the right, and stamp.

14. Turn card two turns to the right, and stamp.

15. Flip card (180 degrees) to square orientation - stamp.

16. Turn card two turns to right, and stamp.

17. Place card back to center. ***keep stamp in same position in the Misti*** Turn card once to the right. Stamp image in different color.

18. Return card to center - Turn card once to left - stamp.

19. Flip card (180 degrees) and repeat steps #17 - #18.

20. Add sentiment to center of card, and embellish.

There may seem like a lot of steps but it is worth it, and when you have done it a couple of times it will become easier. You can do a search on you tube to find videos if you are a visual learner.

A couple more cards for you to see...

                                                      GinaK designs Autumn wreath builder

I have made wreath builder cards in the past, which you can see here, and here.  There are lots more you can see by typing wreath builder in the search bar.

Take a look at these cards:

Here you can see outside, and inside of the cards.  These cards are all top folding A2 cards.

Wreath builder cards are done using a template by Gina K designs

Place the template in a Misti (or any stamp positioner), place card inside template.  Add stamp to Misti, stamp image, turn card into next position, stamp image without changing position on Misti.  Continue stamping image all around the card.  You can watch videos at GinaK you tube channel.

Mandala shape wreath card

stamps used:  Gina K designs

This stamp set is called Mandala Maker and it is used with Gina K. designs wreath builder stencils.  I created this card for my local card swapping group for the theme of shapes.

With this stencil you can make lots of fun wreath style cards which you can see in these past posts here, here, in this post I used the wreath builder stamps/stencil on a pop up card, in this post I used a stamp set with small images, in this 2018 post you can see I have been making these cards for years.  If you like to see more of my wreath builder cards just type wreath builder cards in the search box.  Hope you like all these cards and give them a go!

Happy Birthday wreath cards

stamps used:  Unity stamp co. Birthday go Round/artist Gina K. Designs

These wreath builder cards are just too much fun to create.  These two cards are square cards but I send them in regular note card envelopes so they don't need extra postage.
For these two card I was kinda in a purple mood so both have the color purple.  Wreath builder cards are basically come out looking like a wreath ... hence the name, but you can use the wreath template to make other style cards, also.  I have done lots of these cards so I won't put up instructions here but I will add links to other of my posts.
You can just go to my side bar and write wreath builder cards in the search bar, which will bring you to more of these cards I have created or just click on the links below.
Let's start with newest post here showing cupcakes, in this post I used a stamp set that isn't even designed for wreath cards but it works!  Back to using designated wreath builder stamps here in this post.  In this post you will see holiday cards including not the ordinary wreath builder cards.  Here in this post I'm still using purple inks but the wreath is off to the side of the card.  In this post I used the Mandala wreath builder stamp set ...these images are more design like than actual balloons or candles as in the cards shown above.  Here in this post I'm back to my favorite card making color of greens.  More wreath builder cards here and I think, this is where it all began for me with these Christmas cards back in 2018.  So that is my journey so far with wreath builder cards!!! Do you think there will be more in my future?  I do, so watch for more wreath builder cards coming soon.

Thank you for stopping by, and please do come back soon.  Let me know ... what you think of wreath builder cards?  leave me a comment.

YES!  I'm still having fun with wreath builder stamp sets!  can't help it they are addictive.
You can see here I used stamps that are not considered wreath builder stamps BUT they work.  Go to this post to see more wreath builder cards, holiday wreath builder cards here , and even more wreath builder cards here.  I have even more just do a search over on the side of my blog for wreath builder cards and see how addictive I have become with these cards.
Here is a pic of the wreath builder stencil ... there are two sizes 3 3/4" and 4".  3 3/4" stencil is pictured here.

Magical

stamps used:  Unity stamp co. Something Magical stamp set

This is another wreath style card I did with the Something Magical stamp set which I am obsessed with at this time.
1.  place wreath builder template in stamp positioner.
2.  place card in template in the square orientation.
3.  place the stamp on the card ... fold down the plate of your positioner to catch the stamp.
4.  ink stamp and press onto card.
5.  rotate card to next position and repeat the stamping till the circle is formed with the image.
6.  repeat steps 2 thru 5 with all the stamps you are using.
7.  stamp sentiment in the center of the circle.
8.  layer card with black card then onto green card.  This is a 4" square card.

Thank you for stopping by.  come back again soon.  comments are welcome and appreciated.

Wizard fun tags

Wizardly tag fun!

stamps used:  Unity stamp co. Something Magical stamp set

Here are some fun wizardly (hmmm is that a word? lol!) tags I created this week.  I told you I would be back with more things using this stamp set.  Don't be surprised if you see more using this stamp set very soon......but for now let's talk a little about these tags.  The reason for these four tags is I ran out of that kraft cardstock so I couldn't make cards.  I took the 4" x 4" cards I had made and placed it on a pre-made manila tag, cut it down to kinda fit on the tag then I added some washi tape plus the strips I cut off of the 4" card were adhered to the tag.  Found a black tag in my stash and basically did the same thing.  The stubby tag with the wizard hats and cauldrons I decided to just cut down to fit the size of the card so as you can see it is an unusual size tag but that is o.k.  The last tag was cut down from a 5" square I stamped with the wreath builder template so again it is not your normal size tag.  I will add some ribbon or fibers to them and mail them out to friends.  Oh, yeah for three of them I just stamped the images in black but one of them I added some color just for the fun of it. Hope you are enjoying seeing my wizard creations as much as I am creating them.
thanks for visiting and please come back again soon.

Wizard fun!

stamps used:  Unity stamp co. something magical stamp set

A couple of fun cards using a Harry Potter inspired stamps from Unity stamps and Gina K. designs wreath builder template.  There are lots of videos out there on how to use the wreath builder templates on you-tube or just go to Gina K. designs and you can see some there.

On the green card I made a 4" circle card then cut it in half, (go to Gina K. designs to see videos) layered the cut pieces onto a black card, layered the stamped saying onto another 2" by 4" (approx.- I eyeballed the size) black card, adhered that to the card in the center.  Hard to see in this photo but I laid down two thin strips of tear and tape then pressed on some green foil.

The turquoise card is just a straight out wreath builder card on a piece of 3 3/4" x 5" white cardstock, layered onto turquoise card then a white note card.  The center saying was die cut with circle dies and I tied a faux bow at the bottom of the card.
Had fun making these two cards and there will be more of these Harry Potter inspired cards/tags soon!
Thank you for stopping by and please come back again soon.

GIU day 4 - step pop up card

It's Thursday day 4 for GIU guest blogging and in keeping with my theme ... in case you haven't figured it out ... it's pop up style cards.  Today I'm showing you the basic step pop up card.  It is the first pop up card I learned how to create.
stamps used:  Unity wreath builder stamp step by Gina K. designs
I couldn't resist to use my new wreath builder stamp set that just arrived a couple of days ago.  I did the basic wreath builder cards but you can watch videos from Gina K. or Jennifer McGuire for more advanced ideas.
The inside of this card is a basic step pop up card ... if you don't know what that is then take a look at these photos.
 step card templates
measurements:
inside step card - 5 1/4" x 8 1/4"
Fold in half then on the fold cut two parallel (two cuts next to each other).
Fold the cut out back and forth.
Next unfold the card and reverse fold the cut out section.
That is all there is to it.

Here's a look inside the card with three steps.
Thanks for stopping by.  Remember to comment to be included in the Unity stamp grab bag.  Come back tomorrow for my last guest blogger post.

The holiday is fast approaching

stamps used:  Stampin' Up, Gina K designs

Did a combination of Stampin' Up and Gina K designs stamps/wreath builder template for these cards.  Since I didn't have the Gina K holiday wreath builder stamp set I decided to go through my stash and use other little stamps using the wreath builder template and it worked.  Some times you just have to go with what you have already.  I like the results and I hope the recipients who receive them do, too.
Happy Holidays!

Fun with Mandala stamp set

stamps used:  Gina K. designs  Mandala stamp set, Wreath builder set(sayings). Unity stamp co.  (sayings)

I do enjoy the Gina K. designs wreath builder sets ... they make it so much fun to create cards.  I went a little crazy with the Mandala stamp set this past week creating a half a dozen cards.  Some of them I just used colored inks (variety of ink co. cube ink pads) but, with the one with all the circles I actually colored it in with distress markers.  Distress markers only because they were handy and of course, I don't own any copic markers.  I do have a bunch of Marvy markers but I have slowly throwing out the dried up ones ... they are very old.
hope you enjoy my cards and please leave me a comment on what you think.

Mix It Up Challenge #18 - monochrome

Another month has started so that means (for me) a new challenge at Mix It Up Challenge blog or as we like to call it MIUCB.
MIUCB #18 AG (anything goes) and monochrome.

stamps used: Gina K. Designs wreath builder stamp set/stencils

I used a variety of ink pads ... small and regular sized for these cards but I did use one of my favorite colors ..... green!  I just had fun with these little stamps from the wreath builder set and made three different wreaths.
Hope you like these green beauties for MIUCB #18 monochrome this month and don't forget to use a stamp somewhere on your projects.
come back again soon and please let me know what you think in the comments.

Purple wreaths

Still enjoying creating wreath builder cards.  here are purple cards.
 stamps used:  Gina K. designs
here is a photo of Gina K. designs wreath builder stencil template tool so you can see it.  I wrote with a sharpie the size in the corner so I know what size cardstock fits in it.  there are two stencil templates:  3 3/4" and 4" .  the 3 3/4" is showing in the photo.
thank you for stopping by and please come back soon.  Also please leave a comment and let me know what you think.
