Waterfront flip flaps

stamps used:  Stampin' Up Waterfront stamp set

Not sure if I ever showed this card.  It is a variation on the Flip Flap card which you can search on pinterest or you-tube for detailed instructions.

Here are some measurements for a flip flap card:
base card:  4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
layer:  4" x 5 1/4"

flap layer: 4" x 3 1/2", 3 1/2" x 3"
flip layer:  3 1/4" x 3 1/4", 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"
these measurements can be adjusted for any size card.  The flaps can be smaller or bigger to suit your needs for your size card.  Have fun with the design and don't forget while you have the DSP out to add some to your envelope.
Thanks for stopping by and please come back soon.

Happy Halloween!

stamps used:  Unity stamp co.
I'm not sure what the actual name of this style card is so I'm just calling it a Flip card with a card inside.  Anyone out there who knows or can think up a better name please let me know in the comment section.
Measurements:
black card =  5 1/2" x 6 1/4"  -  score at 2"
black layers =  cut two at 3" x 3 1/2"
orange card =  5 1/4" x 8"  -  score at 4"  -  folded card for inside  -  tape to black base card.
white layers =  cut two at 2 3/4" x 3 1/4"  -  stamped pieces for front and middle inside piece.
inside white layer =  3 3/4" x 5"
To create the white moon I punched out a circle and used it as a mask then stippled color around it.
Yes, I got out my stipple brushes ..... an old favorite tool of mine that I haven't used in ages.  So get out an old favorite tool you haven't used in a while and bring it back to life!
Hope you enjoyed this post.
come back again soon.

Flip It cards

Had fun with Sizzix triple flip it card die that I won from Plucking Daisies | Where Creativity is Always in Bloom drawing.  This die is right up my alley because I like to make cards that move!  this makes it so easy to do.  The green card is what is called a Flip it extended card because it's longer than the regular card.  It has a folded section that hides where you can write a message.  My other card with small horse is regular size Flip it card.  Besides the card template die there are lots of other dies that are included in this die set for layering on your cards.  Will be playing more with this die set more in the future.
