This is a simple design card I did for my creative card swap gals a couple of months ago.  I had computer trouble back then so I'm just getting around to posting it.

I used a two step stamp set from Stampin' up, which really makes this a simple card design.  I stamped the detail bird image first, then the solid color second.  As you can see this is not supposed to be perfect.  The solid image is made to be uneven.  Looped a piece of ribbon behind the image, and stamped the saying underneath to the side.

stamps used:  Catherine Pooler stamps build a snowman stamp set

This is such a fun set of stamps and dies to create cards!  I am having lots of fun with it.  Here are a couple more doing just stamping without any dies.  I like to stamp the saying first then with colored ink stamp the hats and things on top of the black stamped saying.  easy peasy!  I did these cards for a local card swap group I belong to.

Snowman fun!

This stamp set is called Snowman Builder stamp set and it also has dies to match.  I am having so much fun with this stamp set ..... I like snowmen when it comes to stamps but not so much a fan for real.  The reason is you have to have a snowstorm to get the snow and that is not always fun.

Back to cards.  Since I have the dies for this stamp set it makes it easy to create all kinds of fun cards like the card on the left above.  Now the card on the right above is just straight stamping!  and that is fun, too.
