one sheet wonder cards

 One sheet wonder cards

One sheet wonder cards are several cards you make from a template. This is the template I used for these one sheet wonder cards.

I made these cards for my local creative card group for March 2025.

stamps/supplies used:  DSP by Stampin' Up, saying by MFP stamp company

I chose this template because it made four cards so all I have to do for my creative card group was do it twice.  This way I would have eight cards, and that is more than I needed for my group.

One sheet wonder

 One sheet wonder

First I want to wish everyone a Happy Holiday to you and yours!

On to my cards for today.  I needed a few extra cards, so I went looking for a one sheet wonder template.

stamps/supplies used:  SU DSP(pattern paper), Altenew stamp co. sayings stamp set

I found this 6 x 6 one sheet wonder template on pinterest.  One sheet wonder ideas have been around for years, in fact check out this post from a few years ago.

Yet more one sheet wonder cards

 One sheet wonder cards

stamps used:  GinaK designs

This is just a short post to show a couple more one sheet wonder cards.

It's such a fun, and easy technique, that I can't stop making these cards.  I've been doing this technique off and on for years, in fact, back in the day I was published (magazine now out of business) where I made postcards.  The magazine was Scrap & Stamp Arts November 2005 ... I told you it was back in the day.  If you have this publication you can see my Irresistible postcards ... name given by magazine.

Wish I had photos but, that was back before fancy phones and all.  I scanned pics from actual magazine so you can see my postcards in all their glory from back in the day.

Back to today ... you can see more details on this technique here in this post.

More One sheet wonder cards

 More One sheet wonder cards

I ended up with five completed stamped One sheet wonder cardstocks. This means a total of 20 cards!  So here are the rest of the cards that I didn't show in my post from February 27th.

stamps used:  Gina K designs Happy Life, New Beginnings, Always Delightful, Whimsy and Wonder
I had too much fun with this one sheet wonder technique!  Some of these cards have Perfect Pearl spray to add some shine.   To see step by step photos how I created these cards check out this post.  Back in the day I called this technique collage stamping, but whatever you call it it's fun.  To see more on this technique look here, 2009 collage stamping, more collage stamping here.  You can type collage stamping, or one sheet wonders in the search box to find more that I have done.

Sometimes after the stamped one sheet wonder cardstock was cut up it looked better on horizonal or vertical cards.

Some of the cards I added self sticking gems.  Today and always cards are going to be Anniversary cards, once I stamp the inside later.

Well that's enough of this style card for now.  Hope you like them.

One sheet wonder cards

 One sheet wonder cards

Some of the cards I created have gems or are spayed with Perfect Pearls for added shine.

stamps used:  Gina K designs Happy Life, New Beginnings, Whimsy and Wonder, Always Delightful

I stamped several one sheet wonder sheets.

First I stamped the swirl of stars down the center, and across the center of the cardstock.  Second I stamped the small butterflies in all four quadrants.

Third I stamped the vine and 3 leafery into each quadrant. I think you see the object here ... just make sure each quadrant has all the images.

Fourth has the big flower stamped in each quadrant.
Fifth has all the little image stamped in the quadrants with light green ink.  Once it is all stamped I cut it up into four panels, then I die cut the panels to fit on an A2 card.

Here is another set of cards.
I will do another post showing more cards I created with this technique.
Thank you for stopping by.  Come back again soon.

Holiday candies and Holly

 Holiday Candies and Holly

stamps used:  Hot Potatoe stamp co. candy and holly, sayings from various stamp companies

Just had fun with these cards.  I started with a sheet of white (8 1/2" x 11") cardstock.  For one sheet I randomly stamped the candies all over the cardstock.  Added some red splatters for a little more interest.  On another sheet of white cardstock, I randomly stamped the holly.  Next I cut up each sheet of stamped cardstock in different sizes.

Actually, I guess you could call it a one sheet wonder, but I didn't write down the measurements or make a template of it.  Maybe next time I will be more organized to do just that.  I didn't even keep track of how many cards/projects I made with these two sheets of cardstock.  Oh, well better luck next time.  teeheehee  That's just me ... when I get on a roll I just go for it.  Already sent some out so can't give you a count of how many cards and projects I made out of them.  I will do better next time.

Just have FUN making cards and projects this season, and all year round!

One sheet wonder Holiday

 One sheet wonder Holiday

stamps used:  Unity stamp company To go cup, Sayings from various stamp companies, Pattern paper by Memory Box

One sheet wonder ideas are a good way to create a lot of cards in a short time. This particular one sheet wonder is for a 6 x 6 pattern paper.

Basically you cut up a sheet of pattern paper in different sizes, then adhere to card.

This is the one sheet wonder template I found.  Don't remember the originator, but just google one sheet wonders to find lots of ideas.

stamps used:  MFT zeti stamp set, SU saying

Embellish it!

 Embellish it!

stamps used:  Diamonds (saying), Stampin' Up DSP

My local card swapping group decided for the month of December, the theme would be embellishments.   Embellishments could be anything like self sticking gems - check, pattern papers - check, ribbon - check! Well, they are the embellishments I used on my cards.  I used a one sheet wonder template for my cards, so I would have extras to send out to family, and friends.  The thing is I cut it wrong, or at least wrong, compared to the template I was using at the time.

Yes, I made a wrong cut, so my cards are a bit different, then if I followed the way the originator of this template showed. I was still able to make a dozen cards, and I only needed 7 for my group ... so all is good.

If you want to see the original one sheet wonder template I used, please pop over to Stamp with Tami's blog where she also has a video.
