 I want to tell you what technique I will be showcasing for the May blog hop ..... drum roll...pppprumppadumadum....faux layers and masking sections.  sorry don't know the fancy names that have been given to this technique but I'm sure you will know once you see my cards. 


My first card (blue tones) is created using only the stamp set Marsh Birds but my other two cards are a combination of Marsh Birds and Marsh Silhouettes...these two sets work great together.

    Your masking techniques are wonderful. I love all your cards but I think the gorgeous monochromatic "thinking of you" as my absolute favourite.

    Oh my! Sue, these are seriously stunning!!!! Are you going to be doing a tutorial on your technique or have you done one? I want to find out how you do this!

    Gorgeous color on your second card!

    The third one is so beautiful with the cattails up the side and the pretty white embossing!
