Ginspiration challenge - single layer card

Here is my card for Gingersnap Creations Once in a Blue Moon single layer card challenge.
Took me awhile to figure this card out because I'm a gal that likes to have layers on her cards so this was a challenge for me.
I stamped Faerie Song Art Stamps ~ Fantasy Themed Images dreaming angel on the cloud with black ink and masked her.  With my Ranger Ink blending tool and Distress inks mustard and wild honey I added color then after that I added some self sticking crystals but it still didn't look finished so.....................I got out some sequence waste, placed it on the corners and added some more Distress wild honey then finished off by stamping Dream in black ink.  Looks much better don't you think so.

    Fabulous. I love one layer cards and would never have thought of masking out the main image and then adding colour to the rest of the card. Brilliant! xx

    Beautifully done. I love the layering too. The sponged orange corners are lovely.
