This a fun project that I call Notables. I've been making these altered small legal pads for years. This one was a gift.
To create this project you will need a small legal pad that you can purchase in any store. I like to make a cover that goes all the way around the pad. Decorating it is just a matter of what you like to do. For example the background paper on this one is the compressed sponge technique.All images are from Hero Arts Online
Compressed sponge technique:
1. Squeeze dye ink (refill bottles) onto the compressed sponge. A few drops go a long way and I use two to five colors. On this one two colors.
2. Sprits the sponge with water.
3. Swipe the wet sponge onto glossy cardstock. That's it!
Add a pencil on the side of the front cover. Make bookmarks for an additional gift that are inside a pocket in the Notable.
