Waffle Flower fun

 Waffle Flower Fun

I have been having fun with all the Waffle Flower ... new to me postage style stamps.

The big peony postage stamp is terrific!  I'm on a roll with doing more with tag/bookmarks lately.  I did do a card with this big postage style image, too.

Here is a look at the big postage stamp with Hedgehog image.  He is wonderful.  Need to do more with him.

Faux postage cards

 Faux postage cards

stamps/stencils/dies: Waffle Flower faux postage die/stamps, GinaKdesigns flower stencils, Altenew bloom with creativity

I am having lots of fun with this postage die because you can use anything inside the spaces.  This time I used Gina K designs flower stencils ..... one is zinnia and the other is sunflower stencils.
These big flower stencils work great with the faux postage die.

Jelly fishes

 Jelly Fishes

I fell in love with Jelly fish a couple of years ago when we visited Mystic Aquarium.

stamps/supplies used: Altenew Jelly fish stamp/die set, SU Big Whale stamp set, Waffle Flower postage die

For postage jelly fish card I used the stencil that fits this die cut to mask off the sections.  Next I stamped the jelly fish, and other images to fit in the masked off sections.  Remove the mask and reveal the fun postage card.

I made this postcard for my friend's birthday.
This postcard is 6" x 4" and goes through the mail beautifully.
I wanted to show all the different colors of the jelly fish.  If you go to a aquarium you will see what I mean.

Check the bright purple jelly fish we saw at the aquarium.

Postage cards

 Postage cards

Having a play with Waffle Flower postage die.

stamps used:  Unity stamp co. Sakura stamp set

This is a big stamp so one stamping, and it fills the postage stamp spots. I did masked off the sections with 1/4" strips of post it notes. I colored the flower in with Altenew stamp co. woodless watercolor pencils.  I am really liking them ... think they are going to be my new go to coloring medium.

stamps used:  Altenew stamp co. floral minimalism stamp set

The images in this stamp set filled in the postage stamp spots without any masking.  Used my favorite go to ink from Catherine Pooler stamp co.

Will be adding the Sakura cards to Unity facebook show and tell page.
