GIU blog hop - with video

I'm participating in the Growing in Unity Blog Hop today with some other GIU girls . Please be sure to visit each blog for a chance to win 1 of 2 prizes from Unity stamp co.  I enjoyed being a GIU girl this past September and hope to join in again next year.
Today I wanted to show you another fun background technique from the past using plastic wrap.  Any brand of plastic or cling wrap will work for this technique.
stamps used:  itty bitty Snowbody, Spirit of a Mermaid,  Different & Beautiful, Magical Days
supplies:  plastic wrap, dye inks (pads or reinkers), glossy cardstock
Basics for this technique is add lots of ink to glossy cardstock then spritz it with water.  Cut a piece of plastic wrap bigger than your inked cardstock and lay it over the wet and inked cardstock.  Wiggle it around to make wrinkles.....the more wrinkles the better then put it aside and let it dry completely.  No heat tool because it will melt the plastic wrap.  This is one technique that requires patience.  After it is dry peel the plastic wrap off the cardstock to reveal the background.  It will look different each time you do it.  Now you can stamp and emboss over the background or stamp, color and fussy cut then mount piece on background piece.
You can see video here in this post or at Sue's YouTube

Please visit blogs from all of GIU gals participating below and leave comments along the way including here to be included in Unity stamp co. prize package.
2 winners will be picked on Wednesday and posted in the GIU FB Page.

Thanks for stopping by!
