Black Magic technique
I'm happy to be a Growing in Unity (GIU) girl this week. All week I will be sharing my love of stamping featuring Unity stamps. Please comment each day because at the end of the week I will be picking two winners from all the comments posted. Please leave a current email in comment so I can contact you if you win. The prize is a grab bag of stamps from Unity stamp co..
The Black Magic technique has been around for years but I've just added brown and blue to the technique. I like to use Prisma color pencils for this technique plus I changed it up just a little by doing it on different color cardstocks. Basically you stamp the images with white pigment ink then color on top of the white pigment (after it is dry) ink with color pencils.

LIke the idea of using the Black Magic on other colors!
yes, it was fun. think I really like the blue...tone on tone effect. I will have to try it on green. what do you think? teeheeheee
I will have to try this technique.
Thanks for sharing.
I like the black one the best, it shows the colors best! Very nice technique!
I like them all and have to admit the black is my favorite. What a great technique. I will be trying this technique today and hope mine turns out as well as yours. TFS
I love how you used an older technique because sometimes we forget just how great they can be. All of them are wonderful and I really like the monochromatic blue one.
I never thought about doing this technique on other dark colored cardstock. Great tip

Such a cool technique! I definitely need some good white pigment ink.
Visiting from GIU Facebook page. I'm loving the Black Magic technique featured in your video. Lucky for me, I just recently purchased a white pigment ink pad. Can't wait to try this out. letticia_lee@yahoo.com
Beautiful cards! Thanks for sharing your technique!
I love that you have added a new set of colors to the technique...I am seeing green with a large red poinsettia in my near future...or maybe a nice orange pumpkin on that beautiful brown you used with Fall leaves all around. Thanks for sharing. shawsos@cox.net
not sure but think it would happen with any color pencil.
These are really cool. Thanks for sharing!
What a great way to start off your week! I love how the bird pops off the paper!
