blending colors

These two cards are the same but different.  can you see the differences?  I'll tell you first the sayings second the size of the jar but and this is a big BUT the jars are the same stamp.  the thank you card is the jar as it is supposed to be stamped.  the hello card is where it is different ... I only inked the top of the jar then stamped it and connected the bottom with a pen to make a stubby or shorted version of the same jar.
I also added some wink of stellar to the inside of the jars but as you can see had a bit of an explosion on the taller jar with my wink pen so the glitter kinda looks gold-ish but it is a clear pen.  also added a thin layer of glossy accents for a more crystal clear water effect.
card details:
stamps - Repeat Impressions
inks for blending - Ranger distress inks
VersaFine black ink pad
Ranger glossy accents

I LOVE that you altered our jar!! Isn't that the awesome thing about stamping? If you don't have exactly what you are looking for, maybe you can make it work! Fabulous take on our inspiration photo, too. Totally unexpected, but I definitely see what inspired you! Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built.

Beautiful blending on the background, such a great colour combination! Love how you played around with that jar stamp. It's great when stamps can be used in different ways!
