This month I'm featuring the marque card and paper sunburst cards. I believe the marque card has been re-named recently as the peek-a-boo card but which ever you call it it's a fun card!

The special stamp set we have for you this month is:
Calendar

The mini stamp set we have for you this month is:
Mini New Year

Brrrrrrrrrr there is a chill in the air here in the Northeast.  Really had fun with these two cards using

up scraps of decorative papers for the paper sunburst technique.  the blue card does give the feel of a chill in the air but the bright orange makes me think of autumn days taking a ride to see the foliage.  Take a ride to see the trees along the design team road.  hope you enjoyed this month's blog hop and come back next month to see new sights.

  4. Great technique and way to use bits of patterned paper. I really like the blue and grey - the spots and stripes look fantastic together.

  5. We have all enjoyed those perfect autumn days that are blazoned into our memories and your card pulled out such a happy memory for me. It made me cry. My Mother and Grandparents are dead now but we had such a time at Cedar Lake with a cup of tea as the leaves floated about. Thank you. Carole

  15. Hi Sue! I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to hop, but I've just come by and checked out all your projects from this release and just love them. You have an incredible talent!
I saw the card you made with the calendar set on patty's video. I LOVE the way it works!!! I don't think I've ever seen a card like that! Your New Year's card is adorable too! The sunbursts behind the tigers is a fabulous idea! I like the way you put the close-up image of the tiger in a circle too. I think most of us just put him in a corner, but your use of the stamp makes it look like a totally new image! I love the masculinity of your duck cards.
Your Out on the Town cards are beautiful! I love all the color combos you used! The Chill in the Air stamp set was my favorite of this release and I LOVE what you did with the cards!!! I really had to study the lighter colored one ...it was so cool and geometric! And then, although I know it's not part of the hop, I saw your northern lights card with the same set used. GORGEOUS!!!!!! Thanks for linking the tutorial. I HAVE to try this now!
