The special stamp set we have for you this month is:
"Lucky You"
The mini stamp set we have for you this month is
"Take Time Mini"

This month I'm featuring the chalkboard technique on my cards.
It's a fun and easy technique.  So let's get started....get out your chalk............nope..........get out your white inks.  I prefer to use my VersaMagic white chalk ink for the powdered chalk effect on my cards but for the actual stamping I like Colorbox white pigment ink and white embossing powder.  BUT there is always an exception so look to your right ..... on this tag I used holographic embossing powder just for the fun of it.  Please continue on to see what Janine has to show you in her pockets filled with watches.

  1. Love the effect but every time I have tried it looks terrible. I don't think I have the best white inks to use.

  3. That tag is breathtaking! Talk about gorgeous! I have that type of embossing powder and love it! The chalkboard technique worked very well with the large background, too! Great samples!

  8. wow, wow, wow!!!! Awesome cards! I have just written down the colorbox ink. I always use versafine and white EP but my white EP always looks a little cream colored. Never thought of using white underneath! That might help make it look more white!

Love your holographic embossing powder card! What a great look!

  19. I love both cards but the one w/the holograhic embossing is favorite. The stamped image is really neat and would work for several different occassions. W/the holograhic embossing it makes me think of New Years. The chalkboard technique works well w/this image. All your cards look great. Thanks for sharing the idea and technque.
