More Faux Layers

Once I start doing something I keep going ..... going ..... going ..... and going!  I guess I forgot how much fun it is to do the faux layers technique and my friend reminded me who it was we learned this technique from it was Joyce Hazen from ASITH.  I'm so glad she remembered because it was driving me crazy.  These cards are part of a package that I will be giving to my friends' mother who is old school......what I mean by that is she actually writes thank you notes and mails them!  I think that is great .... now with me I never did that only because I was brought up by my father and it just never occured to him to do something like that .... he would just say thank you at the time and be done with it.  Now done with my ramblings and back to cards.  All images are from Unity Stamp Co. --- thank you to my friend, Leslie for letting me borrow her stamps.  All inks are Ranger Adirondack inks.  Guess you can say I'm going old school with inks, and using stipple brushes which I haven't used either of them for years since Distress inks, and blending tool came out on the market.  It's nice to use old favorites for a change.
