Faux Layer

Did a technique I learned years ago when I was working at a stamp store.  I remember learning it from a visiting teacher from ASITH but for the life of me can't remember her name (maybe one of my friends remember and will remind me)....so sorry....sometimes it takes a while for this ole brain to remember things.  Anyway back to technique, it's called faux layer.  Get out those post it notes that have been collecting dust in your stamping draw.  On one side of the post it note cut out wavy line and place on white note card, place more post it notes opposite for a straight edge.  Dust off all those stipple brushes that you haven't used in years because of blending tool at least that's my excuse.  lol!  Punch out a circle with post it note and stick it in between the post it notes.  Stipple Ranger Adirondack butterscotch and red pepper on the top then lettuce on the wavy side.  Remove circle mask only then stamp Mark's Finest Papers and stamps trees with black ink.  Remove the rest of post it note masks then stamp deer and be well both from Mark's Finest Papers and stamps .  Using one of your most expensive tools.......your finger (LOL!) to rub glue inside circle then sprinkle with glitter.  Add a couple of self sticking gems on the saying and you are done.
