Winter wonderland

Winter Wonderland is the theme for Outlines Rubber Stamp blog this week.  I just hope the weather doesn't go along with this theme so far we just have rain here but upstate they are expecting snow.  Back to making cards and enjoying it.  Here is a scallop circle easel card with the snowman and snow highlighted with Ranger stickles.  The whole card was die cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities circles and scallop circles.  What did we ever do without these die cuts!  They sure make for perfectly cut circles.

***here I thought I was just doing an old technique called spotlighting where you stamp image then stamp again and punch out small highlighted section then pop it up on main image. I guess because I did more than one layer it now is called telescoping images.  fun to revisit old techniques and discover it isn't old but new.***

Wonderful Telescoping image. I don't know either how we created before Spellbinders dies came along.

This is great with the telescoping technique! If someone took away my Spellbinder's I would be utterly LOST!!! Thanks for playing along with Outlines this week!

Hmmm, I'd never heard of a telescoping image, but if this is an example I want to "play". What a great way to use this stamp. Such a fun card!
