With the holidays right around the corner here is a fast and easy gift anyone can make.

Peace on earth, lambs, angels, star, shepard – Peace On Earth EZMount stamp set (SI)   Sunday International Rubber Stamps and more

Distress Embossing ink pad (SI)

Copper embossing powder

Heat tool

White Tissue paper

Ribbon (optional)

1.Cut tissue paper to fit your candle. For this candle tissue paper is cut to 8 ½” x 2 ½”.

2.Stamp all images on tissue paper with Distress embossing ink pad.

3.Sprinkle copper embossing powder on all images.

4.Hold the heat tool an inch or two away from stamped tissue paper while heating embossing powder to avoid burning the light weight tissue paper.

5.Heat the candle with heat tool till it looks wet then start placing the stamped tissue paper on the candle. Repeat this process all the way around the candle.

6.The stamped tissue paper will stick to the heated candle. The candle is burnable with the stamped tissue paper.

7.Tie a ribbon around the candle and give as a gift.

  1. Thanks for sharing this technique. I have used decals on candles before but never thought of doing this. A nice cheap alternative. I love it!
