stamps used: Stampin' Up Dandelion Wishes
DSP: Stampin' Up
Did something different for me ..... I used some of my DSP that I have been hoarding for a couple of years, at least!!! It's time to use what is in my stash ... I know I say that all the time but this time I am actually going to do it!
These cards are created for a local creative card crew group I belong to, we do a zoom meeting once a month to share our cards since we can't meet in person right now. During the course of this year we have mailed or dropped off our cards at each others houses on the front porch. That way we actually do get the card in our hands.
For my January cards with the theme of get well I decided to make cards using Stampin' Up double sided DSP for the front of the card. Since it is double sided there is a pattern on the front and the inside of the card. Basically, I cut out a base card then cut off all but an inch of the card for the front of the base card. If you look at the photo you can see where the solid color cardstock ends and the DSP is showing. I taped the DSP to the backside of the 1" section of the card. That's all there is to it. Simple but effective, don't you think? let me know in the comments if you have done this card design.
Thanks for stopping by and please come back again soon.

I like this idea--always looking for ways to use up DSP. I've been working on using up my stash, too.
It's a fun and easy way to use a quarter sheet of DSP.
