This is a unique card that it is a card and an envelope all in one. I've made this card in the past ... when I say the past I mean at least 15 years ago but back then I made it BIG! had to use paper from a Bristol board pad that was 9 x 12! that's how big it was and yes, it needed extra postage. These card are scaled down to a A2 (5 1/2" x 4 1/4") card so goes through the mail with just one stamp.
basic instructions:
base card: 5 1/2" x 11"
score at 2 1/2" and 6 3/4" - my tip for this step is just score at 2 1/2"... next mark with pencil at 2 3/4" and cut out the pointed top of envelope... then bring the bottom up to the scored line and fold, this way it will match up easier. Whenever I scored at 6 3/4" and folded it didn't match up so I would have to trim off a bit but by not scoring and just bringing up the bottom to the score line .... viola! worked every time.
On short side of card make a mark at 2 3/4"
Cut from mart to score line to form the pointed top of card.
Easy peasy. that's it now all you need do is stamp as you like.
Thank you for stopping by. come back again soon.
