life is like a butterfly...

These butterfly cards are going to my hairdresser Rene as her little gift this year with her annual DD gift certificate.  Rene is a big butterfly fan so that is why the butterfly cards.  I made four of the detailed butterfly cards and two of the outlined butterfly.  for the top card I first rubbed Pebbles artist chalks randomly on cardstock, stamped the butterfly and cut her out, mounted her on card added flying trail, hand drew antennas and stamped the saying.  for the card on the bottom of photo I stamped the outline butterfly onto some loose journal pages that I colored with lots of dylusions products by Ranger , then stamped with images using Delicata gold ink pad (my new favorite gold ink), stamped wheat and background image on card with saying, cut out butterfly and mounted on card.
