Amaryllis Definition MFP blog hop

 The special stamp set we have for you this month is:
"Winter Scenes"
I didn't know much about the Amaryllis so I did a google to see the colors and found that mainly they are red.
So keeping with my theme of making bookmarks this month here are two.
The first one I colored with Prisma watercolor pencils then added a little glitter...easy peasy. Second one is paper pieced and for extra height added foam dots in between the layers.
The card is another simple but effective technique. Did embossing folder for the background, added a strip of decorative paper. Stamped and colored image with Prisma color pencils and die cut a fancy oval.

    Beautiful bookmarks! The black panel behind the images really makes the wonderfully colored amaryllis stand out! And, your card is lovely and elegant!

  14. Gorgeous book marks. The coloured one is so subtle and real lloking...I think i have grown one that looked just like that!!!
    The other is so festive. Great job.
