Beautiful Sunflower

Sorry I have been MIA this past week unfortunately had one of my migraines but I'm good to go now.  Will be putting up some cards very soon.  But for now here is a picture of a sunflower that my husband grew.  Isn't it beautiful....nature is beautiful.  This flower must be 8 or 9 feet tall.  The photo over to the right is of my husband and the flower before it bloomed.  He is 6 feet tall so add a couple more for the flower.  We plan to go apple picking later this week...I always like that...what could be better than apples picked right from the tree!

Oh it is so fall - sunflowers and harvest. Hope the migraines stay away!

Oh that is a gorgeous sun flower. We did not plant any this year. Last year we did (the giant ones like you) and had a squirrel hanging upside down from the stalk to get to the seeds. So cute
