Mark's Finest
Third day of our hop here at Mark's Finest Papers blog showing you all the Trees!  Trees are a great image to have in your rubber stash because they fit any occasion.  The card on the left shows a beautiful sunset which I did by punching out a circle on post-it note to use as a mask.  Also ripped post-it note to use as another mask to create the ground.  I really like how this card came out.  Stamped the hello on the bottom of card but leaving inside free till I decide what I want to say inside.  With the same set of stamps I created a completely different looking card.  Cut out a rectangle, added color with chalks.  Chalks give a nice subtle effect.  Stamped the palm trees in a row on top of each other doing a little masking.  Cut the rectangle piece, rounded corners on one end of each then punched holes, added colored string then layered onto black and embossed layer that was also chalked.
Check out more samples on my fellow design team member's blogs and leave comments for chance to win this stamp set.  See you tomorrow for last day of hop and a card design first for me!

Your cards are on both ends of the spectrum -- hot and cool. That sunset is gorgeous, and I like how you "tied" the two pieces of the other card together.

The tree with the sun behind it reminds me of The Lion King :)
