Orange poppies

Yes, orange poppies.....thought would take artist creativty liscense.  Are there orange poppies??? if so please let me know not being a gardner I just decided to do this color because I like orange with brown.  Used Welcome Poppies stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps! a Heinrich Company also papers and ribbon from MFP .  All the coloring is done with Prisma color pencils.

The Golden State's name came not from the gold rush, but from hillsides covered with the state flower. Google it.

Like the color choice on the Poppies. Especially like your coloring. The ribbon is a nice added touch. Thanks for entering MFP Simple Salutations Ch#4 Anything Goes/Your Choice.

Hi Sue! I really like your card. You've got great stamping technique, and I'm so glad you're entering the Simple Salutations Challenge at Speedy TV. I really hope you will consider also playing along in the Sketch With a Twist Challenge, as I'd just LOVE to see what you will make for that challenge. Your work is beautiful, and I hope to see more of it!!
