This pop up card is going to do double duty ..... 1. for challenges ..... 2. class sample. Always like it when can use one card for more than one purpose. I'm teaching a private class in a couple of weeks and they wanted to make pop ups and confetti flinger cards so that is what we will do. This is a basic step pop up card with a embossed background for a bit of extra texture on the inside of the card. Used Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps! a Heinrich Company Relax a bit stamp set, a new set for me but it has been available for a while. Stamp tea cup and pot on light blue cardstock then added some more color with Prisma color pencils, my favorite coloring medium. I do like my tea stamps. Tea is relaxing for me and I'm a mom so think I will enter this in Mark's Finest Papers blog swap with Mother's Day theme. Do like both these sayings on this card but there are a couple more good sayings included in the set.
Entering this card in following challenges:
1. Mark's Finest Papers blog - Mother's day theme
2. Crazy 4 Challenges - blue/white and another color
Hi Sue. I love today's card. I have never made a pop up card but would like to give it a go. Papers, stamps and sentiments make a special card.

ReplyDeleteGreat card Sue. Thanks for joining Speedys Friends.
ReplyDeleteAnnie - pop ups are fun and basic ones are very easy. just fold insert for inside of card in half and cut two parallel lines no more than 1" in. reverse fold and you have your step for pop up.
ReplyDeletePetti - thank you. I know I haven't made one in years myself but will be making one this week for my sample.
