Here is my entry for Stampotique Designer's Blog newsprint/old book pages challenge. Behind goth girl is a page from an old dictionary and believe me those pages are very fragile. If you look close you can see the definition for goth over on the left. I used Ranger Ink Distress inks to color the background to give it that aged look. What I did for this card is layer all the pieces onto card ..... used Distress inks with blending tool to age it then ran it through Sizzix Big Kick with Tim Holtz embossing folder. Think I read online this technique is called Embedding layers. I really like this background technique.
