This time Debbie and I did paper piecing which is a fun way to use up decorative papers. Here's where inspiration came from Card making, scrapbooking, and craft ideas with Hero Arts stamps!
Here's mine:
I add some glitter to one side of the owl and used my Prisma color pencils to add extra color to ears, beak and around the eyes. Also used a fun corner punch on two sides of the background that I stamped with dots. To do paper piecing, stamp an image on different decorative papers then cut out pieces of the image and piece back onto the original stamped image. Adding foam dots to some of the paper pieces adds more dimension.
All images are from Hero Arts.
Please go to Debbie Does Crafts to check out my partner Debbies' paper piecing. enjoy!
