Thursday Tutorial - By the Brook

By the Brook

supplies:
Landscape Elements #8 EZ Mount Stamp N' Stor set (SI)
Distress ink pads – broken china, tattered rose, pine needles, peeled paint, mustard seed(SI)
VersaFine Onyx black
Nestabilities Large Labels
Cuttlebug Traffic Jam embossing folder
Die cutting machine(for labels & embossing folder)
double stick tape & foam mounting tape
Instructions:

1.Do DTP (direct to paper) technique on piece of white cardstock staring with Distress ink pads tattered rose across the top, broken china then peeled paint across the bottom. ***DTP technique is swiping ink pad directly on cardstock***

2.Ink landscape image with Distress ink pine needles and stamp on the bottom of white card.

3.Ink trees with VersaFine Onyx black and stamp on both sides of card over landscape scene.

4.Cut out black cardstock and stamped landscape scene with Nestabilities labels and layer together with double stick tape.

5.Using Cuttlebug Traffic Jam embossing folder emboss a piece of white cardstock. After cardstock is embossed rub Distress broken china ink pad across it to color the raised sections.

6.With double stick tape layer colored embossed card on light blue card and mount stamped framed stamped landscape scene with foam mounting tape.

7.For inside card do DTP on piece of white cardstock starting with Distress ink pad tattered rose, broken china, mustard seed. Repeat using broken china over the mustard seed which will blend to a green.

8.Stamp rocks and small trees with VersaFine Onyx black on the bottom of card.

9.Layer stamped scene onto black card with double stick tape to the inside of light blue card.
