inks:

Marvy #6 brown brush marker (SI)

Ranger Distress Ink spiced marmalade (SI)

Brilliance pigment ink pad - Pearlescent Orange, Pearlescent Thyme

supplies:

Vellum – also called clear translucent sheets (craft store)

3M double stick tape & foam mounting tape

mini brad

1/16” hand held paper punch

Martha Steward Icicles edge punch (craft store)

McGill Oval paper punch

instructions:

1.Cut a piece of 5 ½ x 8 ½ vellum, fold it in half to create note card. Set aside till ready to assemble.

2.Ink giraffe with Distress spiced marmalade and stamp onto white 3 ½ x 2 ½ card. With Marvy brown brush marker color in selected spots on the giraffe.

3.Stamp the giraffe a second time on a separate piece of cardstock and repeat spot coloring. Cut out.

4.Stamp Good luck with Brilliance Thyme ink on a piece of vellum. Allow to dry for several minutes or quick dry with heat tool.

5.Punch out saying with McGill oval punch.

6.Punch 1/16” hole in the neck of cut out giraffe and add oval with mini brad. Set aside till ready to assemble card.

7.Punch out grass with Icicle edge punch in two different colors of green cardstock.

8.Tape one of the grass edges with double stick tape to the bottom of card stamped with giraffe. Add the second layer of grass with foam mounting tape.

9.Add cut out giraffe with saying in between the layers of grass with foam mounting tape.

10.Tape giraffe card to the center of vellum card with double stick tape.

11.Open card and apply double stick tape to the inside of vellum card. Only apply tape where you see the card from the front then tape a piece of orange cardstock to the inside of card. This hides where you taped the card on the front.

12.Stamp a piece of white card with animal print border several times in Brilliance orange. On same card stamp small vine with Brilliance Thyme diagonally over the card.

13.Tape animal print card to orange card on the inside of card.

14.For the opposite side of the inside of the card stamp saying with marmalade & thyme ink and small vine in the corners of the card. Tape to card with double stick tape.

15.On the back of vellum card apply tape where you see the card from the inside and add a piece of orange cardstock to hide any tape.
