Polish Stone fun

Been having fun doing an old technique but with new inks. Polish stone technique was created years ago by Suze Weinberg using Tria alcohol inks which were a little pricey. Next came out Studio alcohol inks which were affordable but didn't seem to last long. What I mean is the bottle was small and I used up the ink fast. Now there is Ranger Alcohol inks that are affordable and seem to last forever. Plus I really like the colors. Back when in order to get the metallic vein you had to use Krylon leafing pens now Ranger has come out with Metallic mixatives for alcohol inks which make it much easier.

Polish Stone technique basics: Squirt alcohol ink onto felt applicator. A little goes a long way. Pounce & twist the colors onto glossy or matte cardstock until you have filled the card with color. That's it.
The best thing with Ranger alcohol inks is they work on almost any surface. Cards using glossy cardstock, Ranger Memory Glass and much more.
