Guilt free Ice-cream cone

Here is what should have been an easy card to create but for some reason it wasn't ..... at least for me. Took many tries to find a background I liked for the ice-cream cone to sit on top. Tried plain background, pattern papers then last I stamped & added extra texture with Cuttlebug embossing folder. Brown/pink card is with textured embossing folder. Green card is with just stamped background.
To make the cone I first used Tiny Mosaic Cuttlebug embossing folder to create a waffle cone. I preferred the backside of the embossed card for a more realistic looking sugar cone that I remembered from my childhood. With a sponge add dark highlights to the cone. For the ice-cream scoops I used 2" Paper Shaper scallop circle & 1 1/2" Paper Shaper scallop circle. Cherry is 5/8" Paper Shaper circle. For the cherry stem on the green card I just free cut it.
Background: Stamped small checkerboard (moon rose art stamps) & swirl (ASITH) along the border of the card. Used Swirl Cuttlebug embossing folder to give it more dimension.....more life to the card.
To assemble: Tape the ice-cream scoops with double stick tape then tape to background card. Mounted the cone with foam mounting tape. Added saying with double stick tape. Taped finished ice-cream cone card to card with double stick tape.
