Last of my holiday cards....

Here is the last marque card I made using some old Christmas cookie
pattern paper I found in my stash.  worked out well with the gingerbread cookie image for the inside surprise when you open the card.  The cut out card on the right is done with a reindeer stamp I got from a drawing I won from Simon Says.  Again went into my stash of embossing powders and found one of those stick and bond embossing powders so used it to make the reindeer all glitter for the holiday.  think that is it for my holiday cards for this year.  enjoy the weekend!

Forgetful me

 Yes, I forgot to show these marque cards I made for Christmas.  Only made three because didn't make these till a week or so before the holiday.  Also the photo on the left is the inside of a card but forgot to take photo of it closed.  Think I have a couple more cards to show but will do that tomorrow.

  Remember that game we used to play at recess called duck, duck, duck, goose! or was it goose, goose, goose, duck????  old memory here if you remember let me know.  guess I'm dating

myself, lol! I found the answer: A group of players sit in a circle, facing inward, while another player, the "picker" (a.k.a. the "fox"), (some young children call the "picker" the "ducker") walks around tapping or pointing to each player in turn, calling each a "duck" until finally picking one to be a "goose". The "goose" then rises and chases and tries to tag the "picker", while the "picker" tries to return to and sit where the "goose" had been sitting. If the picker succeeds, the "goose" is now the new picker and the process begins again. If the "goose" succeeds in tagging the picker, the "goose" may return to sit in the previous spot and the "picker" resumes the process. With older players, the "goose" may attempt to tackle the "picker".
 anyway that is what today's stamp set reminded me of

Today is my husband's birthday so here for all to see is my birthday wish for him.  Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear hubby.....Happy Birthday to you! you are the best!  I know you are all glad you can't hear me sing!!!  lol!  I'm featuring this type of card, marque card on Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps! a Heinrich Co.  blog this week during our blog hop.  If you go to Patty's (MFPaHC team member) blog here you can see one of my marque cards in action in her video.

MFPaHC 5th and mini Nov. sneak peek

Time to showcase Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps! a Heinrich Co. November 5th stamp set Calendar and mini New Year today.  Before I show you my cards it's also time for me to tell you my theme for this month.....well couldn't make up my mind so I'm doing two things this month so you will see marque cards and paper sunburst cards from me all this week.

First up is my Calendar marque card which can be seen in action on Patty, my sister team member's blog here in her video with other great ideas from fellow team members.
