Tags, tags, and more tags

 Tags, tags, and more tags

I started making tags years ago, and have never gotten tired of making them. I like to make tags in all sizes, and shapes.

The gold tag has a stencil from Hero Arts called Brick (of course).  Also on that tag Altenew Whimsical flower vine die set, and a strip of pattern paper from my stash.

The tag in the center has a stencil from Altenew called Castle motifs along with Ice-cream dies from Stampin' Up.

The last tag has a stencil again from Altenew called Bubble wrap along with Milk Shake from Stampin' Up.

Hello Bruce!

 Hello Bruce!

Bruce started life as a beloved pet, but when caring for him became too much, he needed a new home where he could truly thrive. That’s when Unity stamp company stepped in. Now, Bruce is more than a pet—he’s an office legend, basking in his two-story condo, ruling the space with his good vibes, and reminding everyone to pause and appreciate the little things.

I enjoyed coloring Bruce in a variety of colors...green, purple, and blue.  I can't make up my mind which color I prefer Bruce to be.  Can you? Also I'm not sure, but I think, Bruce is a bearded lizard.  let me know in the comments which color you like, and if you think Bruce is a bearded lizard.

Whimsical flower vines

 Whimsical flower vines

This week for Jennifer Rzasa Tuesday #altenewchallengelive theme is Freshest Find.  The way Jen describe Freshest Find is use new things or anything in our stash that we haven't used.  They can even be gently used that we got from a friend. Whimsical Flower Vines die set is a wonderful keyhole system from Altenew stamp company that I've had in my stash for months but never used ... so, I guess it fits the theme for the challenge.

supplies used:  Altenew Whimsical Flower Vines die set
Altenew's keyhole system makes it so easy to assemble these flowering vines.  You can go to https://altenew.com/ to find out more about the keyhole system for their die sets.

Bellflower Bliss

 Bellflower Bliss

supplies used:  Altenew Bellflower Bliss layering die set, embossing folders
This is a wonderful die set, and basically easy to put together, because of Altenew's key hole system.  I did regular colors for these first two cards, but I plan on doing more in different colors.  I got out an old supply ... Ranger stickles, and liquid pearls that I have had in my stash for years.  Even though they have been hanging out in my stash for years ... they are still GOOD!

Watercolor mushrooms

 Watercolor mushrooms

I don't usually do watercoloring but there is a challenge on Altenew you tube channel , so I had to try it.  I found that I have Altenew watercolor pan set, sooooo that definitely made the decision for me to join in this challenge.  The other thing was you had to use enamel dots, or any kind of round embellishments. I do love my enamel dots!

supplies used:  Altenew watercolor pan set, Mushroom cottage die set, enamel dots, Ranger stickles, Hero Arts rectangle and postage dies

I did a wash of watercolor for backgrounds.

Here are just a few backgrounds I made, so needless to say, I will be making, more projects with these backgrounds.  I die cut out the mushrooms with a couple of the backgrounds, that is why they are the colors they are.  A bit different but, I think fun.  How about you?

Thank you for stopping by.  come back soon.

Chestnut trees

 Chestnut trees

This Chestnut tree die set is so versatile!  I feel you can use it all year round depending the colors you choose for the trees.

stamps/dies/stencils used:  Altenew stamp co.

In my cards I even had fun with the background of the cards.

Some used cloud stencil or embossing folders.

These chestnut trees look good on black cards, and doing the trees in different colors.
Check out above card ... see the difference from other cards?  There are two on the card.  Also you can see extra trees in the background ... I will be making more cards or maybe I'll put them on tags!
