Triple time candles

 Triple time candles

stamps used:  Simon Says candles, you can do anything stamp set

I like this Triple time stamping technique, but I like even more now ... because instead of cutting all the layers, I can now use dies!

This makes the technique even easier to make multiple of cards. If you scroll down in this post you can click on link to a video I did or go to my you tube channel.

I created these cards all with the candles stamps from Simon Says STAMPtemper release.
You can see more Triple time stamping I have done, in this post from 2015, here, in this post from 2016 with a video, and another post in 2021 with a newer video by me.  There are a few more posts that you can see if you like, by typing triple time in the search bar.

Beach bird with premiere video

 Beach Bird

stamps used: Blue Knight rubber stamps - Beach Bird

I'm using the stamp set Beach Bird, and doing the Triple Time stamping technique.  Triple Time stamping has been around for awhile, but now instead of having to figure out layers I can just get out my layering dies.  Layering dies make it so much easier!  no more having to calculate or measure out layers.

You can read tutorial below or scroll down on this post to watch video.  If you don't see video in post watch on my you tube channel. This time I'm trying something new for me, I'm scheduling this video as a premiere video so please subscribe to my you tube channel to be automatically notified.  Premiere video will go live June 15, 2021 at 1 p.m. est., you can watch video and chat.
basic instructions:
1.  die cut 3 white layers.
2.  with re-positional tape stick the 3 white layers.
3.  stamp Beach Bird image over the 3 white layers.
tip: you can use a stamp positioner any brand will work
4.  remove the re-positional tape from the stamped layers and layer onto black layers.
tip: layers can be done with adhesive or foam mounting tape.
5.  adhere Triple Time layer to base card.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

stamps used:  zetti MFT, train SU
Zetti is white card with embossing folder background and cut out snow drifts.
Train is what I call a faux layer card.  You can see some faux layer cards I made back in 2014 here in this post.  Here is a post that goes back even more ... guess I like doing this technique.
 stamps used:  deer SU
Here with this deer image I did a gate fold card.  Check out this gate fold card here , here what was called a peek-a-boo gate fold card.
stamps used:  caroling-wonderful-cups Unity stamp co.
Cup card has pattern paper for background drop and the cups are fussy cut and mounted on card.
Caroling snowmen and sleigh are triple time stamping cards.  Triple time and double time stamping cards are a favorite of mine, you can see more triple time stamping here.  How about checking out this post with Twisted triple time stamping.   In this post you will see double time stamping.
stamps used:  mr.&mrs.Santa cuddlebug Unity stamp co.
Mr. & Mrs. Santa are adorable cuddlebug stamps which if you know me I like and have a bunch of them.  This style card is a double z-fold card.  In this post you can see z-fold card and more fun folds!
As you can see I like to do lots of designs when I have to make over 30 cards.  Guess that is enough for today.
Merry Christmas! and to all a good night!!!
Thank you for stopping by.  come back again soon.

MIUCB #17 AG & layering

stamps used:  Unity stamp co.
It's the first of the month so that means MIUCB challenge time.  the challenge for September is AG (anything goes) and layering so that means you can do either or but remember to use a stamp somewhere on your card/project.
Triple-time stamping
white layers:  2 1/8 x 3 1/8, 2 1/8 x 4, 2 1/8 x 4 3/4, 4 x 5 1/4
colored layers:  2 1/4 x 3 1/4, 2 1/4 x 4 1/4, 2 1/4 x 5
these are just the sizes I used but you can make this card in lots of variations that fit onto a note card.
Place all the white layers in whatever configuration you want with re-positional tape then stamp over all the layers.  when I'm done stamping I carefully take the stamped layers off and layer onto colored cardstock.  tip:  make a mark on the back of each stamped layer on the top so you remember how they fit back together.  tape them in order onto note card to complete the card.
thanks for stopping by and please come back again soon.

triple time stamping

stamps used:  Unity stamp co.  every single day stamp set
inks used:  SU raspberry ripple, Adirondack eggplant

This is a variation of the triple time stamping technique but instead of layering all the layers straight on top of each other ..... I offset them.
measurements:
eggplant/raspberry ripple layers-
2 1/4" x 5, 2 1/4" x 4, 2 1/4" x 3 1/4"
white layers-
4" x 5 1/4", 4 3/4" x 2", 3 3/4" x 2", 3" x 2"
basic instructions:
1.  place all the white layers on each other with removable double sided tape in the staggering fashion.
2.  ink up the flower image with ink and stamp over all the layers at one time.

tip:  mark the back of each stamped layer and colored layer with pencil on the top so when you adhere to colored cardstock you know which end is the top.

3.  adhere stamped layers to colored cardstock that is a little bigger.
4.  adhere the finished stamped layers to the white (4"x 5 1/4") layer then to the note card.
5.  add embellishments to finish the card.
