I know more soot stamping!  but I can't help myself ... once I get hooked on a technique I have to take it to it's limits.  I think this will be enough for now, because I need to finish up my Christmas cards.

Soot stamping with video

stamps used:  Unity Stamp co.

supplies used:  candle, glossy cardstock, ribbon/twine, pattern paper

Some more soot stamping to show you and a video, too.  The video is short and sweet just so you can see how you actually do the soot stamping technique.  For basic written instructions go to this blog post.

Soot stamping

stamps used:  Unity stamp co.

supplies:

candle

Krylon Clear Matte finish spray

glossy cardstock

basic instructions:

1.  burn surface of glossy cardstock with candle.

2.  stamp dry stamp into soot.

3.  remove stamp to reveal the image on card.  the dry stamp removes soot.

4.  spray card in a well ventilated area or outside with Krylon spray.

5.  allow to air dry and repeat step #4.

6.  finish card with ribbon and cardstock.
