I did this Duoprinting chlorophyll technique for the first time back in July 15, 2017  but if you search my blog you will see several posts including ones with video.

Here are several pictures of panels and tags I did this week.

Basic instructions:

1.  fold a piece of copy paper in half - open it up.

2.  cut two pieces of cardstock (I did 4 1/4" x 5 1/2") - place one of them inside the copy paper.

3.  place your leaves or herbs or any combination on cardstock.

4.  place another piece of cardstock on top of leaves/herbs.

5.  fold the copy paper over the two pieces of cardstock with the leaves/herbs sandwiched inside them.

6.  run them through Big Kick (whatever machine you own).

7.  peel the two pieces of cardstock apart and VIOLA!  beautiful nature cards.

Just know that different leaves/herbs react different to the pressing so you never know what it will look like till you peel them apart.  You get a positive and negative ... two for the price of one.

I bet you thought I was done with this technique ... not!  Still have several prints so I will slowly make them into cards and more.

stamp/dies used:  Unity stamp co.
Guess I just can't get enough of this technique.  Needed an anniversary card so these prints fit the bill.

More Duoprinting w/chlorophyll 

All I can say is that this technique is ADDICTIVE!

stamps used:  Rogue Redhead Designs

With this bunch of duoprinting w/chlorophyll prints I cut them down into small tags.  Added ribbon or brads to attach a white tag behind the printed tags.

Above are large tag cards.  Simple to make, just cut out two large tags one from the chlorophyll print, and one from white cardstock. On the white big tag score along the top at 1/4".  Add liquid glue above the score line then place the chlorophyll tag print on top.  When it's dry the tag will open just like a card.

Repeat the same steps to create a small tag card as with the big tags.

This time I ran some of the chlorophyll prints through an embossing folder.  This added some dimension to the card.  The hello card is a die cut.
I have lots more prints but I won't show any more, because they are basically the same as what has been shown in all my latest posts.  Just type chlorophyll in search bar to see all the posts again.

I tell you once you start making prints with this technique, you can't stop!  Or maybe it's just me that can't stop!  I did this technique back in 2017 ... that's six years ago.  Scroll down to see video in this post or go duoprinting w/chlorophyll video on my you tube channel.

The main thing is take a walk to pick leaves off trees, and ferns. Even herbs will print.  If you look at the cards in the second pic ... those blotches of green are dill.  

basic instructions:

1.  fold a piece of copy paper in half - open it up.

2.  cut two pieces of cardstock (I did 4 1/4" x 5 1/2") - place one of them inside the copy paper.

3.  place your leaves or herbs or any combination on cardstock.

4.  place another piece of cardstock on top of leaves/herbs.

5.  fold the copy paper over the two pieces of cardstock with the leaves/herbs sandwiched inside them.

6.  run them through Big Kick (whatever machine you own).

7.  peel the two pieces of cardstock apart and VIOLA!  beautiful nature cards.

This is a unique technique, where you press leaves, and ferns between two pieces of cardstock.  I used my Big Kick to press the leaves, and ferns.

These are just a few of the prints I made with all the leaves, and ferns I collected outside.

6.  run them through Big Kick (whatever machine you own).

Last of duoprinting with chlorophyll ... maybe!

stamps used:   Altenew butterflies, words by MFP

O.K. I have probably said this before ... this is the last of duoprinting with chlorophyll but don't think I ever showed these cards.  I took the prints made them into cards then decided they needed something more.  I had stamped and die cut a bunch of Altenew butterflies so I mounted them on the rest of the cards I had duoprinted.  I like the touch of the butterflies, don't you?  BUT don't think this will really be the end of this technique because Fall is coming with the turning of the leaves ... and ... what colors!  I think they will print up wonderfully but time will tell.

Last of the leaves

stamps used:  Hot Potatoes, RBBB, Museum of Modern Rubber - unfortunately all these stamp companies are gone with the wind.

These postcards are the last of the leaves from the Duoprinting with chlorophyll technique. The leaves on the beverage postcards are from the Sassafras and the radish postcards are leaves from the radish.
 I've had so much fun doing this technique which you can find at Splitcoaststampers - Resources for all the details.  That's not to say I won't do more before the summer is done ... I'm sure I will but for now I'm taking a break from this technique because I have plenty of cards and postcards to send out to friends and family for right now.  But if you would like to see more of my cards/postcards with this technique you can go here or here for another look.

Still having fun with duoprinting with chlorophyll!  It is always fun when we can find things around the house or in nature to use with our craft.  The only problem is that when it is so easy to use what is around us it becomes addicting because it doesn't interfere with our budget.  For this technique some leaves work better than others as you can see from the photos.  The top photo is using leaves I got from a friend's house and they worked great.....just don't ask me what the names of them are....I think the ruffle type leaf that looks similar to oak leaf is a chrysanthemum leaf but don't quote me on that.  My friend gave me a baggie full of leaves to take home and try for this technique so have no idea what leaf is what.   The bottom photo has wisteria and lemon balm leaves ... I know that because they are from my yard.  You can look back at this post to see the other samples I made and more information on this technique.  go out in nature and see what you can find to make into art.
