Shake it Up!

 Shake it Up!

I do like to make shaker cards, and have been for years.  These shaker cards are so easy to make, because I used clear envelopes.  In the "old days" we made shaker cards, by cutting out foam core boards with craft knives.  I sliced my fingers many a time with those sharp craft knives!  Then we progressed to using foam mounting tape to make pockets to fill.  Easier, but if you left any space between the strips of foam mounting tape, all the things inside the shaker would spill out.

Now with clear envelopes it is much simpler.  Now a days we call these never-ending shaker cards, because they basically fit the size of the card.  See more never-ending shaker cards here, vellum shakers, shaker tips video, here's one from 2009!  Another look at shakers here with video.  If you want to see more of my shakers just type shaker cards in search section in the side bar.

Thanks for stopping by and come back soon.
