Embossing folder and decorated papers make for unique cards. 

stamps/supplies used:  Altenew Dancing Poppies stamp/die set, Organic Linen embossing folder, Stripes set B paper pack

basic instructions:

Cut a 3 3/4" x 5" white card, run it through Big Kick (any emboss/cutting machine) with organic linen embossing folder.  Set aside.  Cut a piece stripe paper at an angle.  You will have two angle pieces so why not make two cards.  Adhere the angled stripe paper to the embossed card.  Add a strip of black cardstock for more interest, and to separate the two textures on the card.  Add die cut dancing poppy, and a few self sticking gems.  As you can see above I made one vertical and one horizontal.
