Yeah! for me.  I'm all caught up again for my art journal challenge.  this week is collage which sometimes for me a bit out of my comfort zone but I like the way this page turned out.  I looked around my craft table and just used what was there so first I glued down a piece of printed deli paper.  This deli paper is used as placemats at a restaurant in MA that friends and I ate at when we were away for a weekend.  next I glued on some stamped images I had colored and fussy cut that are in a container on my table.  I added some washi tape because let's face it we all have rolls of it!  last I stamped the umbrella...colored it in with chalks....stamped clouds but they were getting lost so I paper pieced them to make them pop.  done and done!

Distress it!

 Had fun making these cards in a class earlier this month.  most of the techniques I've done before after reading about them on Tim's blog but sometimes it's just fun to take a class and be able to just play.  I did do a couple of things I've not really done before like painting on metal piece, using the small stapler or surprisingly rub ons!  Yes, I used rub ons over my stamping.  I feel that I'm not really good at collageing so this was a good class for me to just do it and not worry about not having it come out perfect.

 Here are some more looks at my paper collaging which I don't feel is my strong point but I did have fun using up scraps of papers in my stash.  I used pattern papers and tissue papers.  My favorite are tissue papers because they become transparent.  To the left is full sheet and to the right I cut it up to make ATC's.  The ATC's I made with the raven black bird are for a swap I'm in with some very talented stampers.   We've only been doing the atc swap a couple of months after we really get into it I'll post everybody's if they don't mind.
