Kiss it!

O.K. did that title get your attention.  lol!  kissing technique that is....kiss stamp to stamp is where you ink up a solid image with one color and ink another image with a different color then stamp it onto cardstock.  you can see the effect on my horse card.  now for the bird card I just inked up an acrylic block and stamped it three times then over stamped it with the bird image.  Taught both of these cards in my last Adult Ed. class and they were a big hit.

crazy lady

I'm the only crazy lady around lately with things going wrong...nothing that bad just car breaking, headache, missing stamping with friend....you know life.  But not in our last class a couple of weeks ago we had fun stamping this crazy lady.  This is a z-fold card we made in class that everyone got a kick out of and could relate to that crazy haired lady.  Yes, all my coloring is done with prisma color pencils.

Bee happy

Sometimes you just need to add a big bee to your cards!  this big bee is an old stamp from Stamp Francisco (out of business) that I have always liked....don't get me wrong I like bee stamps but not real bees with stingers!  for both these cards I did the inking of embossing folder and just pressing closed with fingers to make an uneven background that stamp on top of it.  the card on the right we did in my last Adult Education class.

Fun at Adult Ed. card class

this week we had fun doing a lot of doodling on a couple of cards
especially on the panties card!  here you can see mine (on the left) and Claire's (on the right) cards....completely different but using the same stamps.  we also did a doodle card using flowers from Outlines (unfortunately out of business) stamps in olive green.
Yes, I think I'm back to my old habit

of using green which you can see with my flowers doodle card but everyone seemed to enjoy doing this card in the unusual olive green.  Doodling is fun and can be addictive as for me I've been doodling since I was a kid in my notebooks while I talk on the phone and so on.  I know now they have a fancy name for doodling which I believe is zentangles but for me doodling is just doodling.  So with that said and only being my opinion go forth and doodle to your heart's content.
