Mark's Finest
Island Life is one of my favorites because there is a lighthouse image (which have a soft spot in my heart) plus all the sayings to go along with the images. I always like to have matching sayings.
My first card uses the scene with the boat tied to the dock. I stamped it over my oil pastel background and isn't that a great saying.
Instead of doing a card for my next sample I stamped a tumbled tile coaster. It's easy to do and you can make a set of four for almost nothing. I pick them up at Lowes' when they go on sale for 10 cents to 25 cents.
Please leave comment here and on my fellow design team members' blogs for a chance to win this stamp set from
Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps! a Heinrich Company. Check back tomorrow for the last day of our hop to see samples with the stamp set Silly Seashells.

ReplyDeleteWonderful card and project!! Great color choices!
ReplyDeleteLove the tile! What a fun project!
ReplyDeleteLike the nautical feel of these creations. Not heard of a tumbled tile coaster. Go to Home Depot alot and there is a Lowes so I'll ck it out. I like all things Lighthouse. Just entered the Summer challenge again since I so want to win the Lighthouse stamp set being offered to challenge winner. Have visited several Lighthouses. One time when visiting the Lighthouse on TyBee Island off the coast of Savannah, GA the power went out while we were walking up the steps of the lighthouse. They did not charge us admission since they had no power to run our credit card thru and considered the no power a free day.

ReplyDeleteSue--what a beautiful card and tile coaster! I really like the coaster and the background you created. And your sewing cards from yesterday are fabulous! I especially like the green one with the scissors and ruler! But the CAS one with the pin cushion was really nice also. Sorry that I didn't get to comment yesterday, but my BFF's dog is very sick and she was really upset last night. TFS
